After completing my Bachelor from Government Post Graduate College Kohat and Masters in computer science form University of Peshawar I came to Lahore for getting job in software development industry nearly one and half year back.

I got my first job in November 2007 in VTE Source. Although I was the only developer there, however I really enjoyed those days and learn lot of new technologies. Whatever I am today is because of those valuable days I spent there.

The most important thing was I started learning and working in Zend Framework. I developed an application in ZF.

Spending nearly nine months there and learning PHP, ZF, Photoshop, AJAX and many other new tools and technologies I decided to switch and find a place in competitive organization where I could utilize my skills.

I started applying on rozee and in short time of 5 days I received interview calls from nearly five software houses. Although I was having less than one year of experience but I was treated very differently in those interviews. Reason was definitely ZF.

When you learn how to work in framework you definitely get an edge.

I was selected and given appointment latter in my first interview. That was from Computer Experts.

Honestly say I didn’t enjoy my days there because of lot of work burden and most importantly because of Oscommerce shopping cart application.

Although oscommerce has been developed very well, however its in simple PHP. If you have ever worked in any framework you will obviously know how painful it becomes working in simple PHP.

After spending ten days there, I received an interview call from Nextbridge. Although I tried my best to get some time out of the busy schedule in computer experts, I didn’t succeeded. I apologize twice before arriving in the interview.

My interview in Nextbridge was amazing as ever. I was nearly asked all question in ZF and I gave nearly all correct answers.

Next day I received call from HR and was asked when can I sign my offer latter? These were the happiest moments of my life. I was going to join a big and competitive organization.

However as I belonged to tribal area (trouble area these days), so decided to have a visit to my mother land before joining new organization.
